Two men have reportedly been arrested by Nigeria for performing homosexual acts, according to the police.
The men were arrested in a raid on a reported hint from the neighbor who suspected an unusual moaning and by the arrival of the NPF they caught a man identified as Kabiru Usman, 41 years old from Kaduna state; and Tunde Sekoni 23 years from Lagos state. Both resides Lokon-Goma in Kogi state.
When they where being interrogated, according to the DPO, Tunde Sekoni is serving in Lokon-Goma primary school as a youth corper and met Kabiru Usman two months ago in the bank were they exchanged numbers and became friend. He further explained that Kabiru introduced him to the act and this is his first time of committing such act.
Kabiru added to the explanation to NPF that he as been doing this for long and he has some relationship in the past with a men name Ayo Basoga, Sherif Lawal both living in Kaduna state and one Mr. Solomon Akiga in Lagos.
It was further gathered from him that he was initiated when he was working in Qatar by his boss named Daniel Thambaya.
It was gathered that this was Tunde’s first time in the act. Kabiru confessed that he was initiated into the act by a man Daniel Tambaya in Qatar.
In his cooperating with the police, he named five other people he has knowledge of practicing homosexuality Daniel Thambaya(Qatar), Qasim Oderinde (Qatar), Ayo Basoga, Sheriff Lawal, Solomon Akiga.
At the time of this report, Kabiru and Tunde have been transferred to police custody at Nigerian Police Headquarters Lokoja, Kogi, awaiting a court date while arrest warrants for other indicted persons have been issued.
